Villa Angsoka is the largest of the three beachfront villas of Siri Mendira, a private estate on Mendira Beach in East Bali: close to 900 m² of living space on more than 1,500 m² of land, facing the ocean, with a 20 × 5 m infinity pool flanked by fire pits. Every room has a direct ocean view. Upstairs are two large owners' suites filled with antiques, each with a super-king bed and mosquito net, a walk-in closet, an in-room safe and a bathroom from which, on a clear day, you can see Mount Agung. Four further air-conditioned guest bedrooms — two upstairs, two downstairs — have the same super-king beds, safes and en-suite bathrooms, sleeping up to 12 in all. The living room has four seating areas, from the edge of the infinity pool to built-in corner sofas beside a pond. An air-conditioned media room has a 47-inch TV with cable and DVD, and a Bose system carries music through the living areas. The air-conditioned kitchen has black granite counters, a cooking island with bar stools, a double fridge-freezer with ice-maker and a 90 cm gas range with a salamander grill. Dine at the island, at the single-piece wooden table for 16 (up to 28 with the bale table added), or in the bale by the
