About this villa

The largest of three beachfront villas on a private property in East Bali, the house has close to 900 m² of living space on more than 1,500 m² of land, and every room has a direct ocean view. A 20 × 5 m infinity pool is flanked by fire pits, and in front lies the property's own sand beach, built along a coast that is otherwise mostly rock.

Upstairs, two owners' suites furnished with antiques each have a super-king bed with mosquito net, a walk-in closet, a safe and a bathroom from which, on a clear day, you can see Mount Agung. Four further air-conditioned bedrooms, two upstairs and two downstairs, have the same super-king beds, safes and en-suite bathrooms, sleeping up to 12 in all.

The living room has four seating areas, from the edge of the pool to built-in corner sofas beside a pond. There is also an air-conditioned media room, a mini spa and a gym room. The air-conditioned kitchen has a cooking island with bar stools and a 90 cm gas range, and the single-piece wooden dining table seats 16, or 28 with the bale table added.

A staff of 18 across the three villas includes an in-house manager, butlers, cooks and 24-hour security, and local or western meals are prepared to order. Daily breakfast and airport pick-up and drop-off are included, and massages can be arranged in the villa. The house is at Sengkidu, just before Candidasa, about 1 hour 30 minutes' drive from the airport. Check-in is from 2 pm and check-out by 12 noon; no pets, and quiet hours run from 10 pm to 6 am.
